MISSION & HISTORY.
Our mission is to preserve and share the history of Wharton County with all visitors and residents. We pride ourselves in the hospitality we offer and enjoy sharing our collection.
The museum was established in 19__ in what was originally the home of Marshal & Lillie A. Johnson in Wharton, Texas.

Our hours of operation are Monday-Friday from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
